Got a call on 17th May from a number I didn’t recognise, so I just ignored it. We recently got a new washing machine and it’s still covered by the standard one-year warranty. When we bought it, they gave us the option to pay extra for parts-only cover, but the labour charges each time would’ve been nearly half what we paid for the machine, so we said no thanks. Feels like this call might’ve been some kind of sales push to get us to accept that “great deal.” Honestly, it just comes across as annoying pestering.

sounds like a dodgy home appliance scam to me. they were asking questions about my washing machine but the address they mentioned is one i left behind more than six years ago. this was in birmingham.

I got a few calls from this number too and every time it just cuts off after like 10 seconds, kinda strange really.

I just said "hi" and got nothing back, just total quiet. I’ve heard these calls are just a way to see if your number is working, and once you pick up, they might give your number to others. Best tip? Be careful if you decide to answer, or better yet, don’t pick up at all. Let it keep ringing.

They rang but didn’t say a word, then suddenly the call just dropped out.

This number keeps popping up with slight changes, like just one digit swapped each time. I’ve tried blocking them using a call blocker, but after a few weeks or a month, they call again from a new number pretty much the same as before. It gets really annoying!
