I got a call from a number that looked local but the person said it was BT. I just ended the call.

This number keeps bothering me with incessant calls. I found out it's supposed to be a fixed landline from Shap in Cumbria, according to a quick search on Google. I checked my voicemail through the 1571 service, and it indicated that the call wasn't urgent, coming from italk - seems like yet another one of those pesky cold calls from a broadband provider. I've noticed I've missed several calls from this number in just one day. When I finally picked up, I couldn't hear a thing due to the dreadful line quality. Today, on the 8th of November 2016, they tried again but hung up as soon as I answered. It's becoming rather annoying!
