Got a pre-recorded call telling me my free one month trial of Amazon Prime was finishing and that I'd be charged £39.99 monthly afterwards. Thing is, I've never signed up for Amazon Prime at all. Didn’t press any buttons cos it sounded dodgy. Plus, they never said my name, which just added to the suspicion it's a scam.

A gentleman attempted to reach out to me, insisting on sending a form through my computer, tablet, or phone to terminate my Amazon Prime trial. After I pointed out that I could easily handle this online through my account, he abruptly disconnected the call after numerous attempts to convince me otherwise. Clearly, this is a dodgy scam. I've since found that the number is no longer in service.
