I got a call while I was working and at first it felt like one of those silent calls, but then this bloke with a Liverpool accent started chatting. He called me by my first name and asked how I was doing today. I tried to stay polite, but right away I could tell it was some kind of scam. I told him honestly that folks like him should be locked up and then I ended the call. Seriously, it amazes me these scam calls haven’t stopped yet, even though everyone’s well aware of them now.

I've gotten a few calls now with a robotic voice telling me that £300 and £1100 have been taken from my account for some international payment and another transaction. Every time it rings, I just end up hanging up straight away.
