i got a call from an asian woman wanting to talk about some kind of medical insurance. she was really insistent, kept pushing even though i was trying to be nice about it. in the end, i had to be pretty straight with her and just hang up. definitely not a great call at all.

Got a call from a survey firm last night, this really polite lady going through the normal stuff like who my internet provider is, if I’ve got a will sorted, or a prepaid funeral plan, plus questions about switching energy suppliers. I said no to any third-party contact. She was quite grateful I took the time, mentioned some folks can be pretty nasty on the phone. But honestly, who’d want to get a random call like that at 8.10pm on a Friday? Ended up blocking the number after.
