Since I switched to EE, I've been flooded with calls on my mobile from Runcorn. I block each one, but the very next day, they ring from the same base number, just the last digit's changed. They keep going on about life insurance. I've had this mobile number for over 16 years, and before EE, I only got a couple of cold calls now and then. Now it’s like they never stop!

Had a call from a woman with a strong Asian accent, barely made out that she was trying to do some sort of life insurance check for Royal London - odd, since I’m not insured with them at all! She then asked what insurance I actually have, which is none of her concern. Told her to take my number off their list or I’d be reporting them. Blocked the number straight away. Seriously, they need to find proper jobs instead of bothering people like this!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Aviva doing some sort of validation check. He already knew my name and kept asking about my life insurance details, but I told him straight up I wasn’t sharing any personal info. Then he said something odd like, “I’ll pop round to your place!” and reckons he’s on his way at 2pm. It’s half one now and I’m over 6 hours away from Runcorn, so no idea how that’s supposed to work. Still clueless about what they actually wanted from me.
