Bit strange this one, the call came up with my local area code but the number started with +44. They left a voicemail which was a bit confusing, sounded like someone named Liz from Sebation or something? My phone’s set to ask who it is before I pick up, but I don’t usually answer unfamiliar numbers or people I haven’t been expecting. I’ve never come across that name before so I’m not sure if it’s genuine or some sort of scam. The +44 makes it look like a mobile but the local code suggests it’s a landline, which makes it all the more odd.

The number showed my area code but it's odd because most numbers here don't begin with a 3. A guy with a British accent called me and asked for me by name, claiming he worked for a research firm. I ended the call politely straight away. I'm not really sure if it was genuine as I didn't keep talking.
