When I inquired about the origin of his call, he claimed to represent a comparison service linked to all the prominent life insurers. I pressed him on how he had acquired my number, to which he responded that it came from my existing insurance company. However, when I countered with the fact that, logically, he should be able to tell me the length of my cover, he abruptly ended the conversation. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
