Got a call from a life insurance agent with a spot on British accent, sounded like he was working in a hectic call centre. He started off all polite and scripted, but as soon as I said I wasn’t interested he got pushy real quick: “Just like that? You don’t want to hear about better coverage?” When I said I didn’t have life insurance, he snapped back with “You said yes before. Do you have any kids? A mortgage? So you’re only thinking about yourself?” I told him I was ending the call, but then he hung up on me. Really childish behaviour.

Some guy with a dodgy accent called claiming to be from a life insurance firm, offering me a better deal than the one I’ve got. I told him I wasn’t interested and asked him to take my info off their list. Then he suddenly got all rude, started shouting, and just hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now.
