10 yearsI keep getting calls on my landline and mobile from numbers like 01324 285023 and 01928 200250, supposedly from survey promotion companies I've never come across before. They ring me multiple times a day, maybe 3 or 5 times daily, claiming to be from different computer firms or even BT. Some try offering loans, others ask if I’m sat at my computer and want me to type in info. They also pretend to have special deals through BT or others. Both my numbers are unlisted, which makes it all the more suspicious. I’ve reported this to Ofcom and the fraud team as they keep track of where these calls originate. Be very careful with these scam calls. No legit company should ever ask for personal info, whether it’s about your computer, home address, bank info or special offers over the phone. You can always verify things online safely instead. If you get a call like this, try putting it on speaker and just listen without replying, note down what they say and make sure to report it.
