I received a rather peculiar call today, claiming to be from VISA. They stated that someone had attempted to siphon off funds from my account overseas. It all seems rather fishy, and I can't shake the feeling that it might be related to credit card scams. Honestly, I'm baffled as to how they even got hold of a number linked to VISA in the first place.

Got a call early morning on 6 March 2020 around 09:04, was some auto message saying I had an unauthorised payment of £600 from visa/mastercard, and if I wanted to cancel it, I should press 1. Just ignored it. Definitely a scam.
