An automated voice warned me about supposed suspicious Amazon transactions amounting to £300 and mentioned a dodgy £1500 bank transfer linked to my account. They told me to press 1 to get in touch with an advisor. Of course, I ignored it. I didn’t quite catch the name they claimed but it was certainly not my bank and felt dodgy as hell. I’ve already blocked the number to be safe.Amazon3 yearsI got a call from this number around 12:34 today, with a recorded message saying it was from bank security. They told me two payments were made - one for £300 to Amazon and another £110 going through some money transfer company. The message said to press 1 if I wanted to stop the payments or press 2 to chat to someone.
