Some woman rang me, saying she was with BT and that hackers had been messing with my internet, threatening to cut it off. I couldn’t believe it was legit and told her so, but she kept insisting she wasn’t trying to scam me. Eventually, she lost her temper, shouted some awful curse at me, then just hung up.
