When I picked up the call, there was absolutely no one on the other end.

I received a dodgy call from someone purporting to be with BT Openreach. Don't be fooled by this chap, who had quite a thick foreign accent!

On the 4th I got a silent call from an international number. Then the same number popped up on my mobile and it was a foreign woman pretending to be from BT. You could hear loads of call centre noise in the background. While we were chatting she suddenly said "oh dear!", wished me a happy Christmas and hung up. That was the end for that scammer!

I'm pretty sure it was a scam call. They claimed to be from BT, but I just told them off and said not to ring me again. Wasn't very polite about it!

I had a feeling it was a scam right away - they claimed to be from BT but I told them not to ring me back again. I kept it civil but made it clear to leave me alone.

Got a call about my router not behaving right, but the person had a strong foreign accent and you could hear a noisy call centre in the background. Honestly, didn’t sound like it was actually BT, or at least not the BT we know. Felt like a scam, so I just hung up. If that really was BT, they need to step up their game to sound believable.

Got a call from BT Openreach but I didn’t really believe it was them. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call with no one there on the other end. When I rang back, the number didn’t show up anywhere. If this is one of those 'BT Openreach' scams going around, it’s pretty dodgy. Maybe the ICO needs to step in on this one.
