Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from BT, saying there was an issue with my broadband router. When I asked her how I could be sure she was really from BT, she just ended the call. Pretty obvious scam, probably trying to access my computer remotely. This was the third different number that’s contacted me with a similar story. What’s strange is that my number isn’t listed anywhere, it’s supposed to be ex-directory.
