Right away I got in touch with my service provider and asked them to look into it. Turns out it’s a scam, so best to just ignore any calls from that number.

I've received a message claiming that my internet service is about to be terminated and that I should switch to a different provider. Seems like a right dodgy scam to me!

total scam! they say my internet’s been hacked by 7 different countries and to press 1 if i wanna speak to a technician. left it on silent cause who’d fall for that? do they honestly believe we’re that gullible?
