Got a call from this number first thing this morning. I couldn’t make out any voice, but I probably ended the call by accident since my room was pitch black and I must’ve pressed something wrong. I’ve blocked it now and looked it up. Calls pretending to be from BT or Microsoft are usually dodgy. Best to just hang up and block the caller if possible.

Received a call from 01925982491 this morning, 8th December 2021, at 08:25. I didn’t pick up. Honestly fed up with all these scam calls. It’s baffling how genuine individuals can be blocked online for reaching out, yet these dubious characters seem to operate with impunity. Why can’t something be done to put an end to them?

Got calls from this number two times just today, so I ended up blocking it and reporting it as spam. How on earth do they get so many numbers? Do they just buy loads in a bundle or something? I got a new landline about this time last year, and my blacklist is already jam-packed. It’s getting really annoying, I can’t stand it anymore.

They rang me twice today from this number and I’ve already reported and blocked it. I don’t get how they get hold of so many numbers, do they just buy loads at once or something? I got a call from someone claiming to be from Sky Broadband asking about my router lights, saying there were major issues with my internet connection. Thing is, all the lights were perfectly normal and I hadn’t noticed any problems at all. I asked them to confirm my name, ’cause if they were genuine, they’d know it, right? That’s when the caller started shouting at me, telling me to be quiet. That was a dead giveaway it was a scam. Then they rudely told me off and hung up in a right nasty way. What a day, you’d think a proper company would have more polite people working for them!

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Sky Broadband asking about the lights on my router, saying there was a big issue with my internet - when in fact everything was working perfectly. I asked them to confirm my name because it sounded dodgy; if they were really from Sky, they’d surely know it. That’s when they lost it, shouting at me to shut up! I instantly knew it was a scam. Then they told me to "GET LOST" and hung up on me. Honestly, what a bizarre experience - hard to believe people like that are working for a company like Sky!

Upon picking up the call, I was greeted by a gentleman with a distinct accent who introduced himself as being from Sky, asking how I was faring that day. I quickly responded that I was unable to chat at the moment and promptly ended the call. Afterwards, I dialled 1471 to retrieve the number, which had appeared on my display. 01925 982491: Whenever the caller's number shows up on our phone - cheers to CLI for that - we can see who’s ringing. But if the call comes through as international, or shows up as 'Unknown' or isn’t recognised by our system, we just let it go straight to voicemail. Usually, there’s nothing left behind. Our mates and family know how we handle this and they can always leave a message if they want. Then it’s down to us to decide who we’ll get back to!

I’ve been getting quite a few calls from unfamiliar numbers recently, and the latest was from 1925982491. I picked up and said hello, but they just hung up straight away without a word. I wouldn’t be surprised if they try ringing again later today. It’s become rather unsettling!

I received a rather alarming call this morning, on the 3rd of December, 2021, at around half past nine. The chap on the other end claimed to be from Microsoft, insisting there were numerous error alerts indicating that my computer had been compromised, and shockingly, he mentioned that my identity was being misused in connection with child exploitation. He urged me to sit at my computer, which is in a separate room from my phone, but I stood my ground and refused. When I inquired about the name the supposed hackers were using, he replied 'Hall'. As that's not my name, I decided to terminate the call, although he was quite pushy about how crucial it was, promising to ring me back!

Utterly fraudulent and a blatant con!

Beware of this international caller; they seem rather suspicious and could pose a threat.

Classic Microsoft con artist at play. Oddly enough, he hung up when I told him he ought to feel a bit of shame for targeting those in need!

Someone called claiming to be from Sky, saying my internet was slow and wanted to check some security details with me. Oddly, he never confirmed my name, address, or any part of my account number. When I said I don’t even have Sky, he got quite rude, so I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, said she was ringing from Reading. Since I lived there before, I asked her a few things only a local would know, and it was pretty obvious she wasn’t actually there. When she twigged that I’d clocked her scam, she turned really nasty and we ended up swearing at each other! Total scam attempt from the start.

Received a call but there was nothing but silence on the other end. I can only assume it’s yet another one of those endless scam calls trying their luck at ripping off innocent folks.

I've had calls like this before, and it's totally a scam to freak you out into logging into your computer because they claim it's been hacked. They say your internet or phone service will get cut off if you don’t cooperate. I’m in IT myself, and honestly, they use smart talk to trick you, so it’s pretty easy to get caught out if you're not careful. Best thing is to just ignore and block the number right away.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft, sounded like a call centre with an Asian accent. This woman said my computer was infected with a virus. When I asked what computer she was talking about, she couldn't give a clear answer and just went back to her rehearsed speech. Then I told her I don’t have a PC, I use a Mac with no Microsoft apps on it, and she just abruptly hung up! It’s shocking that BT is allowing these kinds of calls to come through, especially using UK phone numbers.

I received a call from an Asian woman at our charity helpline at precisely 14:25 on the 1st of December, 2021. She claimed to be calling from Microsoft and inquired whether we made use of a computer. Naturally, I responded with enthusiasm, confirming that we indeed utilise a computer and, as fortune would have it, rely on Microsoft products as well! With a bit of cheekiness, I suggested that since Microsoft generously supports charities, perhaps she might be inclined to contribute a donation today? To my utter surprise, the line cut off abruptly. It must have been an unreliable BT connection, just at the moment when she was about to make a contribution on behalf of Microsoft. What a pity! But we’ll manage, no worries there.

I had the misfortune of receiving a dubious call from a woman with a foreign accent, claiming there was a problem with my Microsoft account. Let me tell you, it’s clearly a scam! Don’t fall for it, as such situations simply don’t occur. Luckily, I was at my elderly parents' place when the call came through, and I could handle the situation directly. Best steer clear of this nonsense!

Somebody rang me saying they were from Microsoft. I told them I don’t even use a Microsoft PC and hinted it sounded like a scam. She then got really defensive and yelled "This is NOT a scam!" at me before cutting me off. Definitely not very believable! I've blocked this number now, but since I had a similar call from a different number a few days ago, I doubt just blocking one will stop them.

Got home this afternoon and saw a missed call from 01925982491. No voicemail or anything, so I figured I’d check it out here. After reading all the reviews, I’m gonna label it as a pestering call.

Just got a call at 8:25am but the person hung up before my voicemail finished. If it was someone pretending to be from Microsoft trying to scam, lucky I don’t answer unknown numbers now. Microsoft’s not going to ring up over a billion Windows users on their own phones, that’s for sure.

Got a call super early, about 8 in the morning, from someone saying they were from Microsoft. They said I’d rung them and claimed my computer was being used to download the newest Bond film or something like that. When I said I’d ring Microsoft myself, he got annoyed and said there was no need because he was from Microsoft already. I left the phone hanging for a good five minutes, during which he kept pestering me asking where I’d gone. Eventually, he got fed up and started yelling “Helloooooo” down the line. I just told him he was the one wasting my time with his scam.

I received a call from an Asian gentleman claiming to be from Microsoft. I informed him politely that Microsoft typically doesn't make calls like that, and I suspected he was trying to pull a fast one. To my surprise, he told me to be quiet! I decided it was best to hang up then.

Got another call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, this time a lady on the phone saying my PC was hacked. It's crazy, they've rung me up from six different numbers so far and I've reported every single one. I played along for a moment then said I don’t even own a computer, and she just hung up on me.

Called and it went straight to voicemail, then they just dropped the call immediately. Sounds dodgy, like a scam. I reckon there's some fresh scammer list floating about, cause I suddenly got 5 calls this past week after not getting any for ages.

Someone called pretending to be from Microsoft, but we don’t have any Microsoft devices or software at all. As soon as they said that, I hung up straight away. Then they called back again, this time with no caller ID, and I ended the call right away. They rang a third time, also showing no number, and I just cut them off again. Definitely feels like a persistent and dodgy scam.

I received a rather dubious call purportedly from Microsoft that kicked off with, “Greetings, this is Microsoft, and today is your fortunate day.” It turns out these calls are originating from Warrington, and considering there have been 589 scam calls reported within the past fortnight, one has to wonder why BT hasn’t acted to shut down their line. It seems rather odd!

Got a call around 8.20 in the morning, seemed like a lady from some call centre with an Asian accent. She kept going on about my computer. I shouted back, "I DON’T OWN A COMPUTER!" and then just ended the call. Later, I phoned the number and heard a recorded message from an American woman telling me to leave my details and they'd ring me back. No doubt about it, seems like a total scam.
