Got a call from an automated voice saying there were unauthorised transactions on my account, then they told me to press 1 to talk to someone from the bank. They never even mentioned which bank or card provider it was linked to. Total scam! Really risky stuff. Best not to answer or press anything.

Just got a voicemail saying there’s a £300 charge from Amazon and another for £1100 on some international money transfer site. They said these payments look suspicious and unauthorised since I’ve never used those services with my card before. They asked me to press 1 to approve or press 2 to cancel and talk to support. Definitely sounds like a total scam to me!

Got this call from some posh sounding lady, sounded like it was a pre-recorded message, claimed to be from ‘bank security’ but never said which bank. They said my card got charged £300 on Amazon and another £1100 on some foreign transaction. Then they asked me to press 1, 2, or 3 to ‘confirm’ - which was clearly just a scam. Yeah, no thanks!

Just like others have said, if you get calls about unauthorised charges on your credit card, it's definitely a scam. Best thing to do is to simply hang up straight away.

Got a call this morning from someone saying they were ‘Bank Security’ but never mentioned which bank. They said there were two unauthorised charges on my debit card - one for £300 and another £1,000 for an overseas transfer. The message asked me to press 1 to talk to an advisor. I just hung up straight away. Later, I checked my bank app and there was nothing, not even pending payments. Total scam, I reckon.

I got a call with a recorded message telling me someone had taken £300 from my bank and tried to take another £1000. It didn’t mention which bank though - I’ve got three different ones. After that, the message said to stay on the line to speak to someone and give details if I was worried. I just hung up straight away.

Beware!!! Just received one of those dodgy automated calls claiming there's a £300 fee for my Amazon account and asking for a transfer of £3000. It prompted me to press 1 for more info. Clearly a bunch of scammers! Do not engage with them or call back. Best to block their number right away!

Received a rather suspicious call at 8:45 this morning. They claimed to be from the bank, mentioning some unusual activity on my account. I opted not to pick up, allowing it to go straight to voicemail. It's quite odd, though, as I've had similar calls from various other numbers recently.

Oh, would you look at that, another call just like the one the last person mentioned. Never a specific bank named, just some made-up story trying to con us out of our money. It’s crazy that with all the complaints about TPS and stuff, they still haven’t got enough proof to track down or stop these scammers! I reckon they’d be acting fast if the tables were turned and they were the victims.
