Got a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent saying she was from BT. She said someone was messing about with my internet connection. I thought it was dodgy straight away but decided to hear her out. She started talking about needing to set up Two Factor Authentication, so I just cut the call. Later got a text on my phone saying something like "Hello from BT - your two-step authentication code is an 8 digit number. If you didn't ask for this, change your password." Nope, not falling for that.

Some bloke rang up saying he was from Openreach, about my BT broadband. I really can't stand it when they start with "how are you today" all nice-like. Then he rambled on about people snooping on my emails and passwords. I just fed him the wrong info on purpose, and eventually he gave up and hung up.
