Got a call around 10.40 this morning about some recent stuff happening with my bank account.

Total rip-off. Got an automated call telling me to press 1 to agree or 2 to speak to someone about payments. Then they just cut me off.

Someone called me but didn’t say anything before hanging up. When I tried calling back, the call ended right away with a message saying "the other person has hung up." This is the third time today that they’ve rung and just cut off as soon as I picked up. (Also getting lots of weird Amazon charges on my Visa account.) A few years ago, my wife fell victim to a Windows support scam from India, so maybe our number got passed around scammers, and these calls are actually meant for her.
