Whatever you do, don’t ring this number back! Got my BT bill today and noticed a charge from what seemed like a local Warrington dialling code. Thought nothing of it until I saw they’d landed me with over £15 fee! Watch out for this! - caller: Some shady bloke

Got this call after they kept ringing me daily, they wanted to speak to someone but since I’m a bit deaf I asked them to repeat themselves, and they got all rude and just ended the call. Then when I tried calling the Warrington 01925 number back, it just played some music. Seriously, these lot need to quit it... proper annoying and so damn impolite!

The code looks like it's from Warrington, but these days you can buy so-called 'local' numbers that actually connect to mobiles or even overseas lines. So really, the calls might be coming from absolutely anywhere. I've even reached out to my local MP to raise concerns about this dodgy practice of selling fake local numbers, but haven’t got any helpful feedback so far. - caller: 01925693104

I just received a telephone call from a call centre pushing solar panels on me. The chap was incredibly impolite, and when I declined their offer, he abruptly ended the conversation. Definitely steer clear of these folks!
