Got a call from a very rude woman who said she was from Direct Response. When I asked who exactly she was, she got all defensive. I questioned if they even follow GDPR rules since they shouldn’t have my number if they did. I told her I was going to report them, and she just laughed and said there are worse problems like wars and dying babies. I just ended the call. Absolutely shocking behaviour! No firm should have workers acting like that! This happened at 2:09pm. If a manager wants to reach out to sort this out, I’m here... what a disgrace!

Got a call from a lady with a strong Liverpool accent on my mobile, asking for someone who's never had my number before. She claimed it was regarding a car crash. Got a call from a young woman on my mobile asking for me by name, said she was from Direct Response and it was something to do with vehicle damage but refused to explain further. I asked for their company address and she got all suspicious, asking why I needed it. When I said I was thinking of reporting them for phone scams, she laughed and made some silly joke about fishing on a lovely day like today. She musta realised I wasn’t gonna bite and eventually just gave up.

The person on the phone spoke with a really thick Liverpool accent. I had to get him to say the company name twice, still couldn't catch it. He told me I’d supposedly had a crash in a car park. All I got was this weird crackling sound, like an old answering machine stuck on tape! Cheers to folks here who mentioned scam calls, I'm gonna block this number now. Got a bloke on the phone all full of himself, saying I’d been in a car accident and caused some damage. If you do pick up, often the line just goes silent. Honestly, if you get a call from an unknown number, best just ignore it. If it’s really important, they’ll try a different method to get in touch.

Got a ring from this number claiming I was in a car crash, which obviously never happened. I went along with it and said the crash was so awful I actually died on the spot... she just kept talking her nonsense. Told her again I died in the accident and she replied sorry to hear that, then just kept right on with the same script... honestly, clueless!

Got a call from this number, some bloke called Craig from direct response. He said he had info on an accident claim linked to me, that supposedly wasn’t my fault. Once I said that, he just ended the call straight away. Honestly, if you can block this number, I’d say go for it.
