I got a call from those Gladstone Brooke PPI folks, but honestly, I couldn’t make out a single word since they all seemed to have accents I struggled with - most of them were either African or Asian. Proper confusing!

Around 9.55 on Monday 15th April 2019, I got a call from 01925563998 but I didn’t pick up. They didn’t leave any voicemail or message either.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from Gladstone Brookes or something like that. I wasn’t gonna give him any info, not even a hint about what he was on about unless I gave him my date of birth. When I refused, he got pretty rude. He had an accent I’d put as South African, maybe black, but I’m just guessing really. The scary thing was he rang my mobile and already knew my first name before I even said barely a word.

Got another call from an Asian guy, trying to trick me out of my card info, seems like it's always them! They must think we're total mugs just cos things are different over there haha. Honestly, the only good use I see for them is running dodgy little shops selling rubbish food! What a joke, Mr Swin 2 or whatever.

Got a call out of the blue from this number, a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from some group called Gladstone Brookes. I felt a bit iffy when she asked for personal stuff like my birthday and postcode. I refused to give any details and told her straight up I wasn’t going to share that info. She just went silent and then hung up. Used 1471 and found out the number’s from Warrington. Honestly, seems like a dodgy call, probably a scam or just annoying, so I blocked it right away.
