I got a call saying I’d supposedly agreed to back some kind of educational scheme in schools. That’s completely not true, I never said yes to anything like that!

Last year they gave me a ring about sponsoring some sort of school learning programme. I told them I had no clue about agreeing to anything like that. Mentioned I already said that the year before, then they just cut off the call.

About ten years back, I got a dodgy call claiming they were sponsoring schools with drug awareness programs for children. They tried to con me out of £20,000, threatening to send bailiffs round - which, of course, never showed. Today, I got another ring from them, but the moment I called them out as scammers, the caller just cut off. Definitely not to be trusted!

They claimed I had signed up to fund anti-bullying pamphlets for schools and that the leaflets were already printed. I never agreed to anything like that. When I told them I wasn’t handing over any cash, they just ended the call.
