Got a call from 01925 444737 yesterday. I picked up but there was just silence, then the caller hung up. Today the number rang again, but I let it go to voicemail. When I listened back, it sounded like some kind of computer trying to log on or connect to the internet. My digital answerphone screen even showed "IBM Recording" which seemed odd. If you’re using a home phone line for internet stuff, I'd be careful and make sure everything’s secure so no one can tap in without permission.

Got a call from a guy who sounded West Indian, English wasn’t his strong suit at all. He kept coming off really daft, and somehow ended up blurting out my son’s name as if it was his own, then asked why I picked up in the first place. I usually mix up languages and pretend I’m some foreigner struggling with English, which completely threw him off. These idiots are such a joy to mess with! Ended up hanging up before I cracked up too much.

I just received a call from this number, and the chap on the other end sounded as if he was from overseas - I’d wager he was Chinese. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, he claimed to be representing 'You Benefit'. Unfortunately, his pronunciation was rather muddled, so I pressed him for clarification, but he repeated the same thing. Then he proceeded to state that he’d be asking me some questions, after which I could engage in a conversation with him! I pushed back, asserting that I wouldn’t provide any answers until I could verify where he was calling from. I also requested his contact number for my records, and just like that, the call ended abruptly. Honestly, what is the deal with these relentless scammers?

They wouldn't say what they needed my personal info for, so i just ended the call. Even tho the number's from Warrington, sound like they weren't actually calling from there. Whatever this is, feels dodgy to me. Definitely wouldn't trust 'em.

We got a call today at 3:48pm on our TPS-registered landline from a number we didn’t recognise. Figured it was probably some dodgy scam and just ignored it. What kind of “protection” is the TPS actually giving us against these annoying calls? Anyway, that number is blocked now.
