The calls began about two weeks back, ringing maybe three or four times daily, always before 9 in the morning. My number is ex-directory and I’m on the TPS list. My phone shows who’s calling but if I don’t know the number, I just don’t pick up. They never leave a voicemail either.

But even with it blocked, it keeps showing up in my call history multiple times a day since 7th Feb, from early morning around 8am to as late as 7.30pm, and it hasn’t stopped!!! They leave loads of silent voicemails too, nothing said at all. Now when I get a text saying there’s a voicemail from this number, I just bin the text and ignore it completely.

Quick update on this annoying number. I blocked it back on 24th Jan and since then I've had like 30 calls and texts that clearly don't come through. Is there a way to report these folks to the cops and maybe get them fined? That said, knowing I've blocked them and none of their calls or messages make it through does make me chuckle a bit.

Gladstone Brookes are total pests, always ringing up about PPI like its some kinda charity.
