I got a call from them today. When I asked for the names of the insurance company directors and their registration number, the caller turned nasty. Pretty sure it's one of those car crash scam calls!

I asked to be contacted just online, yet they’ve called me 18 times in a few weeks even though I blocked their number. Honestly, I wouldn’t bother with them now as they’re just a pain.

Gladstone Brooks got back to me after I checked online. They did the same thing before when I was checking on PPI, and once I said I wasn’t ready, they stopped phoning. Didn’t hear from them again until I asked again! They only ring when you actually ask, at least from my experience.

I began filling out a PPI form online through Gladstone Brookes. I provided the basic info they asked for but couldn't recall the postcodes for my old addresses, so I stopped the process. Since then, I've got about 3 or 4 calls a day from them for the past three days. I just leave it ringing. My phone even marked the number as potentially a scam, so I didn’t pick up. Now that I know who's been disturbing me, I'll block the number. Cheers for the heads up about who keeps ringing me.

I did ask them to get in touch about checking some PPI, but the line was awful and I couldn’t make out what the person was saying. He said he’d call me back, but it’s been more than 5 hours and no sign of a call. Honestly, I wouldn’t trust a firm that works like this, so if they try now, too bad - I’ve blocked the number!

Gladstone Brooks, PPI scam, that’s how I’ve labelled them in my BT Call Protect for months now. These muppets keep ringing me multiple times a day despite me never having had PPI. Ever. My number’s ex-directory and I’m on the TPS list, but none of it stops these pests. If you’re with BT, definitely switch on Call Protect. Since I did, my phone doesn’t bother ringing when these scammers call - goes straight to junk voicemail where they never bother leaving a message.

Gladstone Brooks wont stop ringing me, like 5 or 6 times daily. Every time I pick up, no one says a word and then they just hang up. So today I tried calling them back for about half an hour, stayed quiet once they answered, let’s see if they enjoy that. That was a fun way to kill time :)

The sales woman claimed I was entitled to PPI. I told her I wasn’t interested. She let out a big sigh and then said, “You c***, you’ve wasted my time by calling you.” I nearly spat my tea out from shock. I asked her to repeat herself. “You’re a c*** Mr #####s, now f*** off you c***.” Then she hung up. Brilliant, cheers for that. NOT. I’d really like to know where that call centre is. I’d show up wearing my leather jacket and black gloves and see if she still calls me a “c***” then.
