Got a call from someone claiming to be with Openreach, said they were ringing all the local businesses because of some issues with service dropping out in the area. They asked if we’d had any problems with our connection recently - when I said no, they just thanked me and hung up. Didn’t seem dodgy or anything, but not sure what they’d have done if we said yes. Pretty straightforward call overall.

Got a call from TRL working with Openreach, asking about our telecom setup. The gent on the line was honest and said it was a sales pitch. I nicely explained that we’ve just done an upgrade and are quite pleased with our current system.

Got a call claiming they're with Openreach, saying there’s been some changes in the local network that might cause connection problems and they wanted to check what gear I have to potentially upgrade. I told them I don’t just hand out info that could get passed around to others who then ring me up out of the blue like this. The guy sounded a bit annoyed but stayed polite and just said “Alright, goodbye”. This was the second time the number’s called me, and the voice did sound familiar - fairly posh English accent, maybe in their late twenties or early thirties.

I kept hearing a number ring endlessly, then it suddenly went quiet, only to ring non-stop once more. Figured it might be some kind of scam, so I just ignored it.

So, got a call from TRL, some phone company trying to push deals by claiming they partner with OpenReach. I was pretty polite but made it clear I wasn’t looking to switch or buy anything from them.

Some woman kept trying to sell me phone stuff, claiming she was with TRL working for BT - bit too pushy if you ask me.

Got a call from a really polite woman trying to sell telecom services, but I reckon it was just a phishing scam.

I just let it ring out, figured it was probably some dodgy scam call anyway.

I encountered an exceedingly impolite woman attempting to peddle phone contracts. When I inquired whether it was a cold call, she completely disregarded my question, and as I was in the midst of explaining that it wasn't her concern, she abruptly hung up on me while coughing into the receiver. Quite the experience!

Even after asking them repeatedly to stop, Telecom Systems keeps ringing me nonstop. I’ve told them to remove my number from their list, but they just won’t quit!

Got a call from Telecom Rentals, even tho we’re registered with TPS so really shouldn’t be getting this. I told them we’re not interested and just ended the call.

I got a call from Telecom Rentals about broadband and phones, which really annoyed me since we're signed up with TPS. They really shouldn't be calling us, so I went ahead and filed a complaint with the TPS.

I know Telecom Rentals are supposed to be on the TPS list so they really shouldn’t be ringing me up. I just ended the call straight away.

I got calls from Louise Telecom Rentals three times, and honestly, she wasn’t very polite. I told her to take me off their list, but she rang again saying someone had told her to keep calling. Really annoying!
