Received a "call from bt" saying my phone line and internet are being cut off today. Thing is, all my bills are paid up and I haven’t had any official warning about cancelling. Felt off right away. They tried pushing me to speak with "finance" for an urgent payment to stop it happening. After they moved me to a line that sounded like it was a mobile phone on someone's car speaker, with traffic noise in the back, I just ended the call. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.
