Got a call from someone claiming to be Scottish Power saying I owed them cash. I’ve never been a customer and even work in that field, so I’d know if it was legit. If that number rings you, just don’t pick up and block it straight away.

This supposed loan company called my brother, who is autistic, saying he’d been approved for a loan. Then they asked for £1000 upfront for deposit and insurance. When he told them he wasn’t interested, they got really aggressive and started pressuring him to accept it. It was horrible how they treated him.
