Got a call about some dodgy activity on my wifi and was told if I didn’t do what they said, my internet and phone line would get messed up and I might even get in legal trouble. I just ended the call immediately and rang BT. They told me they’d never contact customers like that or try to frighten anyone with threats. They took down the number I got the call from and appreciated me letting them know.

I've been getting calls nonstop from someone claiming to be with BT, telling me they've cut off my internet and I need to press a button to restore it. Thing is, I don't even use BT as my provider! Been dealing with this for weeks now, it's so annoying.
