My elderly client got a call from someone asking for his card details to pay off an M&S credit card. When he said he prefers sending a cheque, they provided an address for posting it. But after checking, the address turned out to be a Prime Lodge hotel. Definitely a dodgy scam.

I've had multiple calls from this number purporting to be from M&S bank, requesting my account information. The thing is, I don’t even have an account with M&S! It seems rather suspicious to me.

What an incredibly irritating individual! They wouldn’t stop ringing me, even though I’d been dodging their calls for more than a week. I finally gave in and picked up today, only to be met with silence as soon as I did. Quite the nuisance!
