01924 659998 is a landline from the Wakefield area in England. I've seen loads of people flagging it as a bother. They called me up, knew my name, then started asking if my place had a solar panel assessment - I said no. Then they asked if I own the house, and I told them no again. Right after that, they just hung up on me. Honestly, that's a quick way to shut them down. I've already blocked and reported the number.

This is Free Green Energy calling but also goes by Smart Energy. Ive gotten multiple calls from them and everytime I tell them to take me off their list. They never actually stop calling tho. My tip: if you dont wanna get these calls again, say you want your data removed under GDPR rules. Make it clear youll report them to the ombudsman or Ofgem if they call back. And if they do keep ringing, definitely report it - they can get big fines for ignoring it.

I got a call on my work phone and answered by saying the name of my department. The guy sounded a bit puzzled and asked, "Is this not xxxx address?" which actually is my home address. I acted like I didn’t know and said, no, this is the work phone number. He then said, oh okay, guess our records are wrong. I asked who he was looking for and he said "Samantha." There’s no Samantha at my place so, seeing it wasn’t meant for me, I didn’t bother asking who he was. Definitely a cold call, he then said sorry and ended the call.
