Got a silent call just now, shame really cos I love bit of messing about with those who waste my time!

They rang but said nothing when I answered, then less than 5 minutes later I got a dodgy call claiming my account was at risk.

This is the second call I’ve got today, and it’s getting really frustrating. I’m working from home and having to keep answering the phone is just eating into my time.

This number keeps ringing me, but I’m not up for buying any energy stuff.

Got a call about energy supply, told the person we were actually a post office, and they called me a f***ing liar. I hung up, but then they rang back again just to shout abuse and threats at me.

Properly frustrating sales callers, always kicking off with some nonsense. They say they’re from an ‘energy company’, I say no thanks, and then they ring back from all sorts of numbers like 0345, 0208, 0778 and the like. So pushy and disrespectful. I’m not one for violence, but honestly, these muppets could do with a good shove.

Got a call from 01924632385 at like 3.47 in the morning, right in the middle of the night! Couldn’t make out a word, just heard two voices shouting at each other. Let it go to voicemail and the shouting kept going on for ages. Proper annoying.

Got calls from an Indian bloke trying to sell us a better electricity plan. Told him no quite a few times, but he kept ringing back three more times. I told him I’d report him to the police if he didn’t stop, and thankfully, no more calls after that.

Got a call from an Indian bloke, asked me for a favour and then went on about Kiss kiss. This was the third time he'd called me.

Absolutely relentless company! I’ve never used their services and have no plans to, but they keep ringing me non-stop. I’ve told them several times to stop calling, that I’m not interested and to take me off their list. Still, in just this week, I’ve had 9 voicemails from them (which I now have to block because of the constant pestering). So annoying!

Got a call off a really angry Indian bloke! He wouldn’t accept no for an answer and started getting proper hostile. I gave as good as I got though. Would be dead curious to know which company he’s from!!

It's the same bloke calling over and over again. As soon as I hang up, he rings right back. Properly annoyed sounding fella.

I told the person on the phone I wasn’t interested and that I didn’t have an owner or anything like that, but they just ignored it and kept asking if I was married. From what I understand about UK GDPR laws, I’m supposed to have the right to be forgotten, but this guy just said no and kept pushing for my energy supplier details, my full name, and if I was married. Quite annoying really.

Someone rang claiming to be from the UK Energy Dept, but when I told them that doesn’t exist, the person with an Indian accent just said alright and ended the call.

Some lady called saying she was from the meter reading company or something. I don’t reckon that company is real. Seems dodgy, might be a scam.

Got a voicemail where they were singing happy birthday then suddenly dropped a f****ng b.st.rd. No idea who it was, blocking the number now. Proper nasty behaviour.

Beware of SMART POWER UK LTD, the people using this number - they’re total scammers. Make sure you report them!

I received a call from 01924 632385 where the caller was masquerading as Companies House. They requested my date of birth and email address, which raised some serious red flags. - Caller: Phoney COMPANIES HOUSE

No idea who it was but the bloke had a strong Pakistani accent and started straight away with "Can I talk to the manager?" He rang me 4 more times one after the other, just wouldn’t take no for an answer.

Not really sure bout this company, kept getting cold calls where the person was constantly wanting to talk to the manager but had no clue about what the business does. They tried to fish out sensitive info from our practice manager even after she told them they were just cold callers. They rang back a few mins later and again wanted to speak to her but never said what it was about, which felt kinda dodgy. Asked if internet and phone services were from the same provider. Jotted down the number though, no chance I’m getting scammed today, cheers.

I received a call from a number ending in 01924632385. The person on the other end had quite a pronounced Asian accent and began talking about electrical issues. Then, out of the blue, they started calling me "beautiful," which felt really off. I promptly ended the call-it was just too strange!

Opus Energy called and kept insisting on talking to the manager, got more and more pushy. Then the guy started being all flirty, asking for my number and told me to ring him at 9pm, giving me a number. After I flat out refused, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from 01924632385, some Asian bloke named Jason, said he’s from National Grid and wanted to arrange an appointment to swap out my electric meter. I asked if he was legit and whether he was calling from England. He gave me a number to ring back on to check, 0208 133 x 501, but I didn’t bother and won’t be calling. He kept asking when I’d get back to him.

Got this weird call from someone with an Indian accent all the time. They keep saying we pay way too much for our energy bills. Doesn’t matter how many times we say we're not interested, they just keep ringing. It's driving my missus mad, she ends up shouting at them on the phone. They even bother my restaurant every single day. Seriously, something has got to be done to get these lot to stop.

Got a call at work this evening and honestly couldn’t make out what he was on about so I just ended the call. Then he kept phoning back like 7 times, and when he finally spoke to a mate of mine, he started asking some proper rude stuff. If only I could’ve grabbed the phone, I’d have given that idiot a right telling off! Bloody annoying foreign bloke.

Got a call from an Indian lady saying she was from the electric company, said we’d called them about a problem. She kept insisting on speaking to the manager! I just hung up.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from Eon. The person sounded Indian and the line was really poor with loads of background noise making it hard to understand. I’d just set up a new business and they used the company details, so it sounded genuine at first. Looks like they’re after info on new companies to try switch suppliers at those addresses. Luckily, we don’t manage the suppliers at our location so they couldn’t actually make any changes.

Someone keeps ringing my place of work over and over, asking my mates if they fancy having sex. Sounded like an Indian accent. Proper sad person with nothing better to do.

This number rang me up sayin he’s got a letter for me and asked me to repeat back what he said, including the company name and address. I told him I don’t want any letter and then he just goes “Are you mad?” Really weird.

Got a call from someone named Azlan who was trying to talk to the business owner about some electricity deal. He was proper pushy and refused to accept I'm not interested. Honestly, he was being quite difficult. I'm pretty sure he’s not legit or working for the company he claims. It’s crazy that numbers like his and these companies are still allowed to function in 2019. No clue how to even report them. We're registered on the TPS, but Azlan just couldn’t care less!

Indeed, I received a call from a gentleman named Azlan, who claimed to be from India and wanted to have a word with the proprietor of the business. A rather typical scenario, I must say. I informed him that the owner was away on holiday, to which he simply requested to speak to the manager. I mentioned that the manager was unwell at the moment. Azlan then quipped that "He would be back by six?" Curious, I asked how he knew this. And thus began a rather tedious exchange. The conversation plummeted quite swiftly, necessitating my putting down the phone several times, only for Azlan to ring back, insistently asking for the manager’s contact details. Despite my numerous attempts to clarify that I had no such information, I eventually relented and provided some random number. He subsequently called again, expressing his dissatisfaction with the incorrect number. "Well," I replied, "you appeared adamant about obtaining a number, and since I had no valid one to offer, I felt obliged to give you anything." We came to an agreement that Azlan would endeavour to ring back tomorrow, hoping to connect with my elusive owner or manager. It’s quite frustrating - receiving ten to twelve calls a day like this, and being registered with the TPS, yet they seem utterly ineffective when I lodge complaints about these callers! 😩😩😩 - Caller ID: 01924 632385

Got a call from some guy claiming to be from E-On. His English was really bad and when I told him to stop calling, he started swearing at me. Honestly, he’s making E-On look bad with that kind of behaviour.

We kept getting calls from this Asian bloke at our shop, proper annoying bloke who just wouldn't listen when I told him to stop. I told him we’d be blocking his number, and he just laughed, saying he’s got loads more numbers he can use to keep calling. Honestly, felt like a threat - really dreadful experience, so watch out!

This particular number has been ringing our workplace incessantly for more than a year now, often two or three times daily. I can’t shake the feeling that the caller is not being truthful about their identity or intentions. I’ve taken to hanging up on them regularly, but now I've been subjected to some truly foul language and abusive remarks. I'm at my wits' end trying to figure out how to put an end to these calls. I've already reached out to the police, and all incoming calls are now being documented. Any suggestions on what to do next would be greatly appreciated!
