I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from BT and claiming my internet had some nasty malware on it. She said they could fix the problem for me. I cut her off pretty quickly, saying I didn’t think she was actually with BT, and when I pressed her a bit more, she got really quiet and dodgy. That’s when I just ended the call. Felt like a total scam to me.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who said she was from BT and claimed there was some nasty software on my internet. She said she could fix it for me. I cut her off quickly, telling her I didn’t believe she was really from BT. I kept asking her questions, and she got really quiet and stopped responding properly, which made me even more certain it was a scam. So, I just ended the call there.

Somebody called me saying it was about the speed of my BT internet. But it seemed like it was one of those automated calls, because there was a big pause after I picked up before anyone spoke. I didn’t think it was a legit BT call, so I just ended the call.
