Fortunately I was visiting that day and managed to step in, ended the call, and made sure she put her card somewhere safe. I’m pretty sure they might ring back during the week. Just a heads up - watch out for these scammers, they’re everywhere nowadays.4 yearsI got a call earlier today from someone who seemed Asian and kept messing up how they said my name, though it wasn’t the first time I’d heard them use it. They were trying to pitch some kind of investment info, which I wasn’t interested in. Didn’t say much back and just ended the call quickly. The bloke on the other end had an Indian accent and couldn’t say my name right. He tried to tell me I could save about £5000 on my life insurance, then wanted to know which company I was with. I told him that was private and refused to say. I can’t recall the company he claimed to work for, but when I asked where he was calling from, he just ended the call.
