I got a missed call and decided to call back since I was waiting for a phone call from a Wakefield number. When I answered, a bloke told me he wasn’t trying to sell anything and even used my first name. I made it clear I didn’t want to keep chatting. Then he said he’d keep ringing me until I heard his reason for calling. I told him that if he did, I’d report it. That kind of pushy behaviour feels like harassment to me. I have no idea where he found my details because whenever I get cold calls, I always ask them to take me off their list. I’m pretty sure that doesn’t really work, but what else can you really do?
