Reports on phone number 01923982416
1 yearI got a call from someone claiming to be from Car Phone Warehouse working with Vodafone, saying I qualified for an upgrade. Normally, when you get a call like that, they already have all your details ready. But when I checked if it was legit, they asked for my name - which I gave a fake one and birthday for. They promised the phone would arrive by Saturday, just two days away. Since they didn’t know my real name or even my address yet, how could they be sure about delivery times? I understand how these scams work, you just have to look up “Scammer Payback” to see how they fool folks into thinking it’s real. What worries me is that these firms probably now have bits of my contract info. Luckily, there are ways to get your data removed by sending requests directly to these companies who have to comply. They usually keep records in case they want to reuse your data later though.
