I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with BT, asking me to turn on my computer so he could explain some updates needed for my router. When I said no, he got really annoyed. He rang me again today with the same story, but I told him I was busy packing for a holiday and didn’t have time for it. After that, he just hung up. Later, I checked with BT, and they confirmed they hadn’t been in touch with me at all.
