I was trying to find out about the EPC certificate needed for selling a house. I mentioned it was a council property and they told me to get in touch with the council. Unfortunately, their number’s now blocked so I can’t call them back.

Honestly, feels like a total scam. My phone always lets these calls go on longer than usual, like they wanna keep me there or something. Got a call today from 01923 937128, which popped up as a possible scam on my phone - was checking it out on Sat 11th Dec 21. I’m really relieved I didn’t pick up. These insulation scams are becoming too much, and if the Government’s backing them, surely they should tell us which numbers are genuine? Over in Telford, Heat Seal tries to pressure you into buying with some pretty dodgy sales tactics from people pretending to be experts. Definitely not impressed.

Looks like a telemarketer to me. This number popped up just today, 6th October 2021, from what this site says, and it’s already had 58 searches - it’s only just after 2pm! Since only about 2% of people actually bother looking up numbers, you can multiply that by around 50 to get a better idea of how many calls they’ve probably made - roughly 2,900. And that’s only counting those who checked here. Not interested, I’ve blocked it.
