Got a call from a company claiming they could help me find a contract, but the person on the line had a strong foreign accent and was quite hard to follow. I’m just going to block the number and not bother with it.

I got a call from a company pushing a new system, trying to get contractors like me to ditch limited companies and umbrella firms. Honestly, it sounded dodgy to me. I did ask them to send more info by email though, just to be sure. What’s a bit unsettling is they already had my name and email - no clue where they got that from.

Not sure what was goin on but when i tried calling them back it just kept ringing and no one ever picked up. I've ended up blocking the number now.
