Received a call on the 1st of March from someone saying I might be entitled to 2 or 3 grand because of an accident I'd supposedly been in. I realised I had been in an accident, but when I asked them for more details, they just hung up on me.

Got a scary call from some scammer saying I was involved in a recent accident. I've already reported it to Action Fraud and the police to be safe.

Just got a call claiming to be from some accident bureau, but I never had any accident. They said they were from the AA, which made me think it was the car breakdown service, but it wasn’t. Really confusing and looks like another dodgy scam to me.

I got a call from someone saying they're with the Automobile Association. When I told them I wasn't a member, they quickly said, "Oh no, we’re not the AA, we just offer insurance." They tried to convince me I'd been in a car accident that wasn't my fault. The thing is, I haven't been behind the wheel in over five years because of health problems. Total con job!

I got a call from someone saying they worked for a claims management firm linked to Auto Assist, but actually paid by UK Insurance Group who apparently had my details. It all felt pretty dodgy and when I asked how they got permission to share my info, they transferred me to a manager who was equally clueless. Total waste of time! Seriously, don't even pick up if you see this number - just block it straight away!

Got a call from some bloke who said his name was like “something green”, sounded dodgy straight away. Then he started going on about me having had an accident - total rubbish! Honestly, where are these muppets finding my number? Proper fed up with them pestering me non-stop. Surely the UK government can step in and sort this mess out?

the call was rubbish, some asian guy asking for me from aa. i told him i wasnt involved with aa and just ended the call. seeing what others have said about this number, ive just gone ahead and blocked it now.
