"Good day, the caller introduced himself as James," came the voice on the line. "A rather intrusive customer survey, it seems," I thought to myself. Curious, I inquired how they had come by my number. James replied, "I obtained it from a prominent retailer that I had requested to contact me." I promptly informed him that I had no interest in receiving any calls and to kindly take my number off their list. Now, I sit here, bracing myself for any more unwelcome interruptions.
