Got a bunch of calls from various numbers, all claiming I called them first. The folks on the line all sounded quite elderly. It started after someone named Frank, who said he was from Microsoft, rang me. Pretty weird.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Jenny at Microsoft, telling me my PC was hacked. I asked what I should do to fix it. Told her my brother-in-law knows his stuff, he's Microsoft certified and would check it out. She insisted that wouldn't help and said she'd block my computer. I just said alright, go ahead and block it, cheers for letting me know. Total scam, I've blocked the number now.
