I received a call from a woman claiming I was entitled to a refund from Sky, which is quite bizarre as I don’t even have an account with them. She repeatedly pressed me for my date of birth, so I decided it was best to hang up. Clearly, it was a scam. Intriguingly, she addressed me using my wife's maiden name, from over thirty years back, which makes me suspect they're sifting through the phone directory for personal info. Pretty dodgy, if you ask me!

I need to share my experience regarding my phone number. This morning alone, I was bombarded with more than 50 calls from individuals claiming I had contacted them. Honestly, I barely use my phone, and I tried to clarify that I hadn’t made those calls. Some callers were quite hostile, and one even went as far as threatening to involve the police. It's become so overwhelming that I’ve decided to disconnect my phone entirely. If anyone receives a call from 01923 678700, please know it absolutely did not originate from me. I've also reached out to my phone provider to report this situation.
