This number rang me up the other day. The connection was terrible, and a foreign-sounding lady was on the line but couldn’t understand me properly. What’s odd is that the number shows as Watford. She didn’t bother to ask who she was talking to and just went on about being from BT’s tech team, saying my internet speed had gone down recently and they were checking on it. She then asked for my personal info. I told her to jog on since I’m not a BT customer, my internet speed is fine, and anyway, if it was legit, she’d have asked for Mr ####. Pretty clear it’s just another scam.
