Got a call from 01923609902, bloke claiming to be a BT engineer. He said BT had just done some updates on my line and to finish up, I needed to restart my router. I had my doubts and pressed him for more details. Then he put his “supervisor” on the phone. When the supervisor said “hello,” I asked where he was calling from. He told me Newman Street, central London. I said it sounded fishy since he had a strong Asian accent. He didn’t like that one bit and just yelled “F*** OFF” before hanging up. Definitely sounded like a dodgy scam.

Had a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying she was from Microsoft. I let her go on for a little while before interrupting her with my usual line, "Blimey, that was fast! Timothy said it'd take him an hour to fix it." She asked what I meant, so I told her, "Timothy from Tech Support, I rang just 20 minutes ago." Oddly enough, she hung up right after that! By the way, I’ve never actually contacted Tech Support - I just make up random English names to see how far I can take the chat.

Pretty sure this was a scam call. Some lady with an Indian accent rang me up claiming to be from Sky, saying there was a problem with my internet. She wanted me to install an app and share the ID number with her so she could fix it. I didn’t fall for it, asked to talk to her manager instead, and ended up being transferred to a man who sounded Indian. I just ended the call there.
