I got a voicemail saying someone tried to charge £600 on my Mastercard somewhere abroad, and to press 1 to talk to an operator to stop it. The call came from a number in Walsall, but none of my Mastercards are linked to that region. I checked, and there’s no sign of any £600 transactions, plus I’m actually in the UK right now. Seems like just another scam to me. I’m going to use my BT call-blocker to stop any more calls from this number.

I got a call from an English bloke with a recorded message claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying my internet would be shut down. It told me to press 1 to speak to an engineer or 2 to just disconnect. Definitely a dodgy scam, watch out!
