I had a call from someone with an Asian accent attempting to pitch me a guarantee for my home’s electrical system for just £7.50. He inquired whether I settled all my bills via direct debit. I told him I wasn’t keen on the offer, which clearly did not sit well with him. Eventually, I lost interest and hung up the phone.
