My mum got a call earlier today, it was one of those recorded messages about some dodgy activity on her broadband account. They said her service would be disconnected within two hours. She ended the call before it finished, but I reckon it would’ve asked her to press a certain key to stop the disconnection or something like that.

Got a call from 01922623644 at around 8:30 on 16th July 2021, and the person said they were from BT. They said there was some suspicious activity on my phone line and told me to hit 1. I just ended the call straight away.
