My mum got a call earlier today, it was one of those recorded messages about some dodgy activity on her broadband account. They said her service would be disconnected within two hours. She ended the call before it finished, but I reckon it would’ve asked her to press a certain key to stop the disconnection or something like that.

I received a call from 01922623644 at half-past eight on 16th July 2021. The caller claimed to be from BT and mentioned some dubious activity on my telephone line. They instructed me to press 1, but I opted to end the call instead. Seemed rather fishy to me!
